Shanita is a Washington DC native; a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (#LC13748). She is a graduate of University of Maryland Eastern Shore with a Bachelors of Arts in Sociology, 2015; Trinity Washington University, School of Education with a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, 2020. Shanita has previous experience advocating for transient DC youth, as well as displaced teen mothers, missing Black girls, and expecting moms.
Prince George's County Public Schools ignited her skillset as an instructional assistant within special education. Holds space for: children, adolescents, and women. Champions and teaches coping skills: self-esteem; anxiety; resource development. Shanita was a former master-level intern of PsycYourMind. Welcome back!
